Welcome to the website for the ReMind Youth Worldview Conference: Unbreaking Reality—Reclaiming Our World. The Conference and this website are operated by Embrace the Truth (“Embrace the Truth,” “we,” “us,” or the “Organizer”). Registration fees for the Conference are being processed by Woodside Bible Church ("Woodside" or "the Host Church"
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and your registration for, attendance at, or participation in the ReMind Youth Worldview Conference (“Conference”). By using this website, purchasing a registration, or attending the Conference, you agree to these Terms. A parent or legal guardian registering a minor agrees to these Terms on the minor’s behalf.
Conference Information
The ReMind Youth Worldview Conference is a Christian worldview conference for youth, young adults, parents, pastors, ministry leaders, educators, and others interested in questions involving faith, culture, identity, science, and truth.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the venue or adjust how and when location information is communicated when reasonably necessary for security, safety, or logistical reasons.
Conference dates, times, speakers, sessions, and other details will be listed on the Conference website or communicated directly to registrants.
Registration of Minors
The Conference is designed in part for high school students and other attendees who may be under 18 years of age. The Conference is not intended for registrants under the age of 17
A parent or legal guardian must authorize the registration of any attendee under 18. The Organizer and/or the Host Church may require a parent or guardian to provide emergency contact information, relevant medical information, and any required consent or release forms.
Parents or guardians who register a minor for the Conference acknowledge that neither the Organizer not the Host Church provide individual supervision, childcare, transportation, or custodial care for minors.
Parents, guardians, churches, schools, youth groups, and designated chaperones remain responsible for the supervision and conduct of the minors attending with them.
Registration and Payment
Attendees may be required to register and pay the applicable registration fee before attending the Conference. Registrants agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information.
Registration fees, discounts, deadlines, and any applicable processing fees will be displayed during registration. Registration is not complete until payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued.
Registrations may not be resold. A registration may be transferred to another eligible attendee only with the Organizer’s approval and in accordance with any transfer procedures or deadlines posted on the Conference website.
The Organizer may cancel or reject a registration if the information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.
Refunds and Registration Changes
Registrations may be cancelled for a refund through October 30, 2026, less any nonrefundable payment-processing fees. After that date, registration fees are nonrefundable unless the Conference is cancelled by the Organizer.
Registration transfers or name changes may be requested through November 6, 2026 by contacting the Host Church Organizer. Approval of a transfer is at the Host Church’s discretion.
Failure to attend the Conference does not entitle the registrant to a refund.
Merchandise, donations, sponsorships, and other purchases may be subject to separate refund policies disclosed at the time of purchase.
Conference Changes, Rescheduling, and Cancellation
The Organizer may change Conference speakers, session topics, schedules, rooms, formats, security procedures, or other details when reasonably necessary. The appearance of a particular speaker or presentation of a particular session is not guaranteed.
If the Conference is rescheduled, existing registrations will ordinarily be honored for the new date. The Organizer and/or Host Church may establish a limited period during which registrants may instead request a refund.
If the Organizer cancels the Conference without rescheduling it, registration fees paid directly to the Host Church will be refunded. Neither the Organizer nor the Host Church are not responsible for travel, lodging, meals, lost wages, childcare, or other expenses incurred by attendees.
Neither the Organizer nor the Host Church will be responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public-health emergencies, governmental restrictions, utility or technology failures, labor disruptions, civil disturbances, security concerns, threats to public safety, or the unavailability of the venue.
Location and Security Information
Registrants are responsible for monitoring the email address or other contact method provided during registration for location information, schedule changes, security instructions, and other Conference updates.
Registrants agree not to share access credentials, private registration links, security procedures, or other information identified as confidential or intended only for registered attendees.
The Organizer and/or Host Church may implement reasonable security measures, including identification checks, bag restrictions, restricted areas, or limits on items brought into the venue. Attendees agree to comply with reasonable instructions from Conference and venue personnel.
The Organizer and/or Host Church may refuse entry or revoke a registration when either the Organizer or Host Church reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect attendees, speakers, volunteers, or the Conference.
Attendee Conduct
The Conference is intended to encourage serious discussion of important and sometimes controversial subjects. Attendees may encounter viewpoints with which they disagree. Honest questions and respectful disagreement are welcome.
Attendees must treat speakers, volunteers, venue personnel, and fellow attendees respectfully. Prohibited conduct includes:
Threatening, intimidating, stalking, or harassing another person;
Materially disrupting a presentation, discussion, or Conference activity;
Using abusive, threatening, or obscene language toward another attendee;
Attempting to enter restricted or nonpublic areas;
Damaging or misusing Conference or venue property;
Bringing illegal substances, dangerous materials, or prohibited weapons onto the premises;
Engaging in unauthorized sales, advertising, petitioning, distribution, demonstrations, or solicitation;
Publicly disclosing private security or location information in violation of these Terms;
Impersonating another person or providing false registration information; or
Violating applicable laws, venue policies, or reasonable instructions from Conference personnel.
The Organizer and/or Host Church may refuse admission or remove an attendee whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, seriously disruptive, or inconsistent with these Terms. An attendee who is refused entry or removed for misconduct will not be entitled to a refund.
Health, Safety, and Emergencies
Attendees are responsible for determining whether they are physically and medically able to participate in the Conference.
Parents and guardians are responsible for communicating relevant allergies, medical needs, accessibility needs, or emergency information concerning minors in their care.
In an emergency, the Organizer or Host Church may contact emergency services. Any medical treatment will be provided by independent medical professionals, not by the Organizer or Host Church.
Conference presentations and discussions are provided for educational and religious purposes. They do not constitute individualized medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
Attendees needing reasonable accessibility accommodations should contact the Organizer or Host Church sufficiently in advance so that available arrangements can be discussed. The Organizer and the Host Church cannot guarantee that every requested accommodation will be available but will consider reasonable requests in good faith.
Photography, Video, and Audio Recording
The Conference may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded. By entering Conference spaces, attendees understand that they may appear incidentally in crowd photographs, recordings, or livestreams used to document or promote the Conference and the work of Embrace the Truth.
Separate parental or guardian permission may be requested before the Organizer intentionally features an identifiable minor in an individual interview, testimonial, posed photograph, or similar promotional material.
An attendee with concerns about appearing in Conference media should contact the Organizer before the Conference or speak with Conference personnel upon arrival. Although reasonable efforts may be made to accommodate such requests, the Organizer cannot guarantee exclusion from incidental crowd images or recordings.
Attendees may take personal photographs unless otherwise announced. Flash photography, professional photography, audio recording, video recording, livestreaming, or commercial recording of presentations is prohibited without prior written permission from the Organizer.
The Organizer or Host Church may require an attendee to stop recording or delete unauthorized recordings when reasonably necessary to protect speakers, attendees, intellectual property, privacy, or security.
Conference Content and Intellectual Property
Conference presentations represent the views of the respective speakers and do not necessarily represent every position held by Embrace the Truth, the Host Church, other speakers, sponsors, vendors, the venue, or other organizations associated with the Conference.
The Conference website, Conference name, logos, graphics, recordings, session materials, written content, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Embrace the Truth, the applicable speaker, or another rights holder. They are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Conference materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, distributed, publicly displayed, or commercially used without prior permission from the applicable rights holder.
Attendees may share brief quotations, personal observations, or notes for noncommercial purposes, provided that the speaker and Conference are appropriately identified and the material is not presented inaccurately, misleadingly, or out of context.
Registration does not grant an attendee the right to use the Conference name, logo, photographs, recordings, or other protected materials for commercial or promotional purposes.
Attendee Submissions
If an attendee voluntarily submits a question, comment, photograph, testimonial, review, or other content to the Organizer, the attendee represents that the submission is lawful and does not infringe upon another person’s rights.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the attendee grants the Organizer a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display the submission in connection with the Conference and the work of Embrace the Truth.
The Organizer is not required to publish, retain, or respond to any submission.
Personal Information and Communications
Information collected through registration or Conference participation will be handled according to the Organizer’s Privacy Policy.
The Organizer and/or Host Church may use registration information to:
Process payments and registrations;
Confirm attendance;
Communicate the Conference location;
Provide schedule, parking, security, or safety information;
Respond to questions;
Administer the Conference;
Provide information about future Embrace the Truth events or resources; and
Comply with legal or security obligations.
Registrants consent to receiving transactional communications concerning their registration, the Conference location, schedule changes, cancellations, emergencies, or other important Conference matters.
Marketing communications will include a method for opting out where required. Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent the Organizer from sending transactional or safety-related communications connected with a registration.
Third-Party Services and Websites
The Conference website may use or link to third-party services for registration, payment processing, maps, lodging, email communications, ticket delivery, or other purposes.
Those services are governed by their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies. The Organizer and the Host Church are not responsible for the availability, security, content, or practices of third-party websites or services.
Links to third-party websites do not necessarily constitute an endorsement of those websites, organizations, products, or services.
Personal Property
Attendees are responsible for their own personal property.
The Organizer and the Host Church are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, misplaced, abandoned, or damaged at the Conference.
Any lost-and-found procedure offered by the Organizer or the Host Church is provided as a courtesy and does not create a duty to locate, store, return, or replace lost property.
Disclaimer
The Conference website, Conference, and Conference content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Although the Organizer seeks to provide accurate and current information, it does not guarantee that every website statement, schedule, speaker listing, session description, or other detail will always be complete, current, or error-free.
The Organizer does not guarantee that Conference presentations will answer every attendee’s questions or meet every attendee’s personal expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer and the Host Church disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right, or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Embrace the Truth and its officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and representatives and the Host Church’s officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from:
Use of or inability to use the Conference website;
Registration for or attendance at the Conference;
Changes to the Conference schedule, speakers, sessions, or venue;
Reliance upon Conference content;
Loss of personal property;
Unauthorized access to information; or
Acts or omissions of third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer’s and/or the Host Church’s total liability arising from an attendee’s registration or participation will not exceed the registration fees that attendee paid to attend the Conference..
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Embrace the Truth and its officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
Your unlawful conduct;
Your material violation of these Terms;
Your infringement of another person’s rights; or
Content or materials you submit or distribute.
A parent, guardian, church, school, ministry, or other organization registering or bringing a group is responsible for the conduct and supervision of its attendees and chaperones.
Refusal of Entry and Termination of Participation
The Organizer or the Host Church may refuse, suspend, or terminate a person’s registration or participation if it reasonably believes that the person:
Has violated these Terms;
Has provided false or misleading registration information;
Presents a safety or security concern;
Has engaged in threatening, unlawful, or seriously disruptive conduct;
Has attempted to interfere with the Conference; or
Has failed to follow reasonable instructions from Conference or venue personnel.
When reasonably appropriate, the Organizer may also restrict the individual from registering for future events.
No refund will be provided when registration or participation is terminated because of the attendee’s misconduct or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal proceeding arising from these Terms or the Conference must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Oakland County, Michigan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before beginning formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute through written communication and good-faith discussion.
Changes to These Terms
The Organizer may revise these Terms when reasonably necessary. Updated Terms will be posted on the Conference website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes will not retroactively alter a material registration or refund right unless required by law or accepted by the registrant.
Continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms as they relate to future website use.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
No Waiver
The Organizer’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive its right to enforce that provision or any other provision at a later time.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the posted refund policy, the registration information, and any consent or release forms applicable to an attendee constitute the agreement concerning website use, registration, and Conference participation.
They supersede prior statements or understandings concerning those subjects, whether written or oral.
